Pontoon is looking for a Recruiting Coordinator for a large client of ours in Herndon,, VA.  Need to work onsite in Herndon, contract to hire opportunity

Recruiting Support:

• Manage job posting process

• Manage the candidate pre-employment and background screening processes , background check partner(s) and vendor(s)

• Own the offer letter process and new hire communication to hiring managers & HR business partners

• Process employee bonuses (referral, sign-on); track payments and candidate reimbursement

• Assist in data upkeep for RFPs to include spreadsheets, scheduling and other duties as needed

• Coordinates monthly Open Jobs list for publication to employees; and Codes and tracks all Employment related invoicing. Metrics, Systems and Processes:

• Contribute to team development as an expert user of ATS and flex across team as needed to provide training on optimal use and best practices

• Manage metrics and reports, including: job openings, new hires and transfers, etc. Disseminate reports to appropriate audiences in a timely manner

• Provide administrative and technical support to the Director of Recruiting Services

• Participate in implementation of ATS and/or HRIS system upgrades




• At least 2 years of director Recruiting Support is required

• Technology savvy with demonstrated proficiency in all MS Office applications (Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Strong ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maturity

• Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and ability to prioritize workload independently

• Can multi-task and work in a fast-paced energetic environment

• Works independently as well as in a team environment

• Maintains a high degree of professionalism - can interface with all levels of the organization as a primary point of contact for Human Resources Employment team

• Consistently builds and maintains strong business partner relationships

• Possesses a proactive approach to accomplishing work, has immaculate follow up, and demonstrates the flexibility to meet business needs with a focus on achieving results

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information such as job descriptions, corporate and client communications, etc.


• Taleo ATS experience highly preferred

• Experience working for a government contractor

• College degree preferred, but not required
