JOB SUMMARY:

The VP pursues new prospective clients for Pontoon Solutions, managing the entire chain from initial contact to contract signing. Responsible for all aspects of the sales cycle for MSP opportunities within an assigned geography/territory. Key responsibilities include seeking new opportunities, business case and solution development with prospects, managing the RFx process and ensuring engagement of appropriate team members at all stages of the sales cycle, client presentations, pricing and contract negotiation. Meets or exceeds annual sales and pipeline targets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales / Business development

Pro-actively seeks new opportunities for Pontoon Solution MSP services. Connects with prospective clients to consult and establish a business case for MSP solutions in an assigned geography/territory. Maintains business relationships with key decision makers within client organizations.

Leads the RFx process from initial receipt to completion, including solution design, pricing and engaging with best fit technology partners.

Engages appropriate internal and external stakeholders: Solution Design, Marketing, Implementation, Account Management, as well as Technology Partners at the appropriate stages of the sales cycle. This includes liaising closely with Colleagues in the Adecco Group to maximize business opportunities at the Group level.

Uses salesforce.com and other sources to establish and develop leads/prospects for the MSP sales team and to properly monitor/manage the pipeline.

Exceeds or meets annual sales and pipeline targets, with a strong sense for prioritization.  

Leadership

Provides sales coaching, education and leadership on each of the pursuits owned to the entire pursuit team.

Leads and coordinates with all parties internal and external to the MSP business in the review of deals to establish financial impact and cost, pricing, risk, and benefits.

Participates and provides input in product development activities in relation to MSP sales activities.

Develops and tracks management reporting that provides visibility, insight and status of sales activities, current trends, and short and long-term prospects. Provides insight and makes recommendations to increase sales and profitability where applicable.

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:

Participation in special projects and other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE & OTHER POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor Degree in Sales and Marketing or the equivalent preferred but not required.

Ten (10) years of sales experience, including five (5) years MSP sales experience.

Broad knowledge of sales/service requirements and marketing/presentation techniques.

Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate groups and individuals.

Excellent oral/written communications, organizational and negotiation skills.
