Job Responsibilities

  • Proactively researching and investigating new ideas to create innovative sourcing strategies 
  • Sourcing active candidates from on-line databases, contact lists, internal databases, internet and social networking sites.
  • Sourcing passive candidates through networking, cold calling, complex internet searches, and research
  • Evaluate profiles of candidates and ensures that profiles meet hiring requirements 
  • Acting as a search expert for a functional area(s) by understanding functional hiring needs, position specifications, and search requirements
  • Utilizing understanding of job market, job responsibilities, professional competencies and transferable skills to read between the lines when matching clients to opportunities
  • Partnering with recruiter(s) to generate ideas, leverage resources, and share information that facilitates an effective search process
  • Creates job opening descriptions, facilitates description approval process and partners with Recruiter to ensure openings are posted.
  • Responsible for sourcing and pre-qualifying candidates
  • Collaborate with Recruiter to identify opportunities for process improvement resulting in customer satisfaction.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Must have 1-3 years of high volume recruiting experience in agency or in-house
  •  Ability to learn and navigate Applicant Tracking Systems quickly and possess strong working knowledge of recruiting applications (i.e. Taleo, Kenexa)
  • Expertise in Boolean searches.
  • Experience in Internet and database searches
  • Excellent research and critical thinking skills
  • Superior communication skills, organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent phone etiquette/professionalism and cold calling skills
  • Strong computer skills and ability to utilize HRIS system; PeopleSoft experience preferred 

Other Skills      

  • Proficiency in Outlook, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must be Internet savvy and experienced in using online recruiting sources and mining online databases
