Pontoon is looking for a  Technical Recruiter for a large government contractor in McLean, VA   This position will be recruiting for the military.  Will be virtual  for now however need to work onsite couple days in near future. Need to live in the Virginia area. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

·        Recruit and sources for technical candidates in the DOD community,full life cycle recruiter.   .

·         Interviews, screens and evaluates  candidates for Full Motion Video and Intel Analysts.

·          Utilizes outside of the box strategies to identify qualified candidates for hard to fill openings.

·             Ensures that applicant tracking system is maintained and completed; applicants are dispositioned according to OFCCP guidelines

·         Creates and places employment advertisement on websites, social media, etc.

Qualifications:

·         3+ years of recruiting technical candidates in the  government space, recruiting for DOD/military  community.Demonstrated success in recruiting for passive candidates for hard to fill positions.  

 ·    Excellent customer service skills are a must have for this job, a

·       Experience organizing, managing, and tracking candidate flow.  

·       Excellent relationship builder, networking, and communication skills. 

 ·    Skilled at partnering with recruiters and hiring managers to create effective sourcing plans.

  ·  Prefer someone who has a military background 

·    Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
